The site connects a denser residential neighborhood along Rue du Château to an open area by the Canal and Provincial Road. It is characterized by clear, identifiable architecture, tailored to the functions of the three institutions present on site.

Site Layout
The building extends the existing street frontage, positioned perpendicular to the theoretical alignment to limit street-facing façades to two controlled gables. A pedestrian “drainage” path runs alongside the building, linking the high and low points of the site. Each institution maintains its own entrance and identity while benefiting from a shared circulation organization.
Function Distribution
- PSE: The lower part of the site along the Provincial Road serves as a drop-off area for the school bus, conveniently close to the entrance.
- CEFA: The four teaching workshops are located in the middle of the building on the lower level, at ground level with the recycling container yard.
- SSM: As in the existing situation, the entrance is located on Rue du Château. Administrative areas for PSE and CEFA share a common circulation core on the +2 level.
Energy Performance
The adjacency of the institutions and continuous envelope insulation generate significant energy savings. Technical synergy between the three entities enhances the overall building efficiency
